Between taxidermy, pirate treasures and religious idols, Carolein Smit’s work is strange and beautiful. Her statues measure about half a meter each, which probably makes them even more impressive when seen in real life.
Carolein Smit is a holland-based artist, she studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of St Joost, Netherlands, and specialized in graphics and lithography.
