Being a Londoner, I always enjoy reading/watching stories with a plot located in the city I live in. For this map, graphic artist Dex and interior designer Anna Burles have made some serious research and dug through more than 250 novels in order to fill the map.
Each character is written and located in the area they were usually hanging out, and it’s awesome. You can buy it here.

Nancy Liang is a talented Australian illustrator who creates whimsical gifs. Dark and poetic, they bring me straight to some fantasy world I would love to live in. Check out her tumblr for more gif love.
Nathalie Lété is a French artist who creates wonderful illustrations mixing her imagination as well as some real influence from childhood and France in general. Not only does she sell regular prints and silk prints, she also makes hanging toys, cushion covers and… rugs!! Look at these:

Instead of the usual slogans, graphic designer Clif Dickens decided to say what we really think of these popular brands. I think my favourite is the one about Urban Outfitters!

This is the second time I mention artist Hsiao-Ron Cheng on this blog (for previous article, click here), and once again I fell in love with her pastel coloured work. This time, she illustrated and designed a guide book of the best parisian patisseries… The mouth-watering book was published in Paris and I will definitely try to put my hands on it next time I go there.
Sweet tooth alert! Joel Penkman is a New Zealand artist who loves sweet things and painting. She decided to combine the two and created these very yummy looking illustrations of ice-creams, cakes, biscuits and other treats. Love it!
These simple and beautiful portraits have been painted by American artist Emily Winfield Martin. She takes her inspiration from fairy tales, music, myths, carnivals and old children’s books. With these in mind, she creates unusual and dreamy paintings and book covers.
Charlotte Hardy is a British artist who combines different media to create these whimsical scenes. Romantic with a hint of vintage, these absolutely girly paintings have stolen my heart.

Hsiao-Ron Cheng is a Taiwanese artist who started as an illustrator. It wasn’t long before her work got discovered and she won the Young Illustrator Award 2012.
