Usually, sharks don’t really strike as the friendly type. But pair them with bright colours and they look much more fun, almost cute! Lorien Stern is the genius behind this idea, and creates shark heads in rainbow colours with ceramic and an obvious sense of humour. I really love those heads, and wouldn’t mind one or two in my living room!

La Chambre de Marie is a homage to the artist’s grand-mother as well as to every woman. Marie, or Mary using an English spelling, being one of the most common names in the western world, Charline Giffard wanted to echo the feminine sensibility by taking her grand mother as a starting point. La Chambre, meaning the bedroom in French, relates to the intimacy of the artist in this conceptual space that she created. Beautiful and secretive.

Flower House is a beautiful and poetic project imagined by flower designer Lisa Waud. She bought two runed-down houses in Detroit with the ambition of filling them with flowers to give them love one last time before tearing them down to create flower farms.
